  • An independent celebrant is a person who can create and conduct a personalised ceremony just for you about you!  It doesn’t follow the choices you have to follow with a local registration service/register office. I can incorporate readings, songs, poems, ring warming, candle lighting, the list is endless!   

    It is not a legal ceremony, but you can undertake one of these separately to have a legal registration of your marriage.  Currently the law states in England and Wales that the legal requirements are carried out by a religious minister in a church or by two Registrars in an approved premises or Register office.

    You can get legally married in a Register office (dress up or down) and have the ceremony of your choice at a separate time/date to create one that is truly special to you.

  • Weddings Held in:

    • 2026 – £650 (£150 deposit payable on booking)

    • 2027 – £700 (£150 deposit payable on booking)

    • 2028 - £750 (£150 deposit payable on booking

    • These prices are correct as at 1st January 2026 - 31st December 2026. Increases may apply after this date

    Renewal of Vows Pricing

    Renewal of Vows Held in:

    • 2026 – £500 (£150 deposit payable on booking)

    • 2027 – £600 (£150 deposit payable on booking)

    Payment Details

    The remaining balance must be paid 28 days before the ceremony date.

    What’s Included

    Every ceremony includes a beautifully designed commemorative certificate, which you will have the opportunity to sign on the day. This serves as a special keepsake, symbolising the significance of your commitment, whether witnessed by family and friends or shared privately between the two of you.

    In addition to the certificate, you will receive a personalised copy of the ceremony script, allowing you to revisit the heartfelt words spoken on your special day. This serves as a cherished memento, capturing the emotions and promises exchanged, ensuring that the memories of your ceremony remain vivid for years to come.

  • The choice is yours!  This is one of the great things about having an independent celebrant, I can go wherever you want!  A special hotel, golf club, room in a public house, garden, field…. We can discuss details of the location.  Beaches, public places may need you to obtain permission from the relevant councils/organisations. The ceremony can be outside if you wish or in a room that you have chosen.

  • Yes, this will be £150 payable on confirmation that you want me to carry out the ceremony and the date and time is yours and yours alone.

  • If you cancel 6 months before the wedding, £50 of the £100 deposit will be refunded to the same account it was paid from.   If you cancel up to 6 months before the date your deposit will be non-refundable.

  • Yes!  I can discuss with you where as it maybe a special place that you/your partner want to have as part of the ceremony.  Travel, overnight accommodation fees may be extra to the inclusive price, but would be agreed prior to sign up.

    If you want to go ahead and book, send me an email to confirm with

    Full names, date and time of ceremony, location (this will create a “hold”) for you. 

    A deposit is then payable (£100) to secure the above. 

    1.       I will then arrange a Teams call or a meet up if needed (can be at a café or public space) with you and/or your partner to discuss any questions or queries you have and get an idea of what sort of ceremony you want. 

    2.       I will proceed to send you some paperwork to complete.  You would return this to me by a set date.  I would then create a timeline for us to work to for the ceremony details and script.

    3.       I would hopefully like to meet in person if location allowed for the 2nd meet up to finalise details.

    4.       Remaining balance payable 28 days before the ceremony date

    5.       I would arrive 1 hour before ceremony start time to ensure I meet all relevant people prior to the start of the ceremony.  i.e photographer, best man, ring bearer etc.
